The Adjutant General Nevada National Guard

The Adjutant General for the State of Nevada. As Adjutant General, he is the senior uniformed Nevada National Guard officer responsible for formulating, developing and coordinating all policies, programs and plans affecting more than 4,000 Nevada Army and Air National Guard personnel. Appointed by the Governor, State of Nevada, the Adjutant General serves as the Governor’s principal adviser on all National Guard issues.

He oversees joint staff operations supporting 4,300 Soldiers and Airmen serving in the Nevada National Guard.

Prior to his assignment as the state command chief warrant officer, Baumann served as the deputy surface maintenance manager for the director of logistics.

CSM Dennis L. Basilio was born in the Philippines and entered the Army in Guam, USA, in May 1996. He attended basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and Advance Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia, as Distinguished Honor Graduate. Upon graduation, his initial assignment was to the 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Battalion 63rd Armor in Vilseck, Germany.
