Open Positions


  • Cadre Team Leader- Cadre Team Leaders, within the Office of the Military, Nevada Army National Guard, educate, train and mentor at-risk 16 to 18-year-old youth in a 24-hour/7-days-a-week setting who have not completed high school, are high school credit deficient, and demonstrate a desire to improve their potential for success and lead productive lives. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. (21 open and available positions)
  • Case Manager- Primary responsibilities are to maintain and report placement information for 20-60 Cadets in the Post-Residential phase, provide case management services to Cadets, their families, and their mentors, and facilitate Character Development and life skills classes for Cadets in the Residential phase of the program.
  • Deputy Commandant- Reports to the Commandant, supervises Cadre Shift Supervisors and Cadet training.
  • Cadre Shift Supervisor- (three positions)- Reports to the Deputy Commandant, supervises Cadre Team Leaders and Cadet training
  • Admissions Specialists- (two positions)- Reports to the Admissions Coordinator, responsible for outreach in (1) southern region/(1) western region of Nevada

BBYCA 005 

  • Case Manager- (six positions)- Reports to the RPM Coordinator, responsible for delivering Life Skills/Character Development curricula and maintaining communication with Mentors and Graduates.
  • Food Service Manager- Reports to Program Coordinator, supervises four Cooks, responsible for menu planning IAW the USDA school lunch program, ordering appropriate quantities of food and scheduling Staff.
  • Food Service Cooks- (four positions)- Reports to Food Service Manager, prepares and serves three meals a day, seven days a week for up to 160 individuals and maintains cleanliness and safety standards.
